Mason Sand

Mason sand (or masonry sand) is crushed and has finer granules than those found in concrete sand. This sand has also been screened and washed, and in terms of application, it is the most versatile sand.

This versatile sand works well between narrow joints and pavers. Masonry sand is also used for brick and mortar, blocks, and mixed concrete. The composition is better known as concrete sand as it is made at a quarry typically from gneiss, trap stone, granite, or limestone.

Common Uses for Masonry Sand are:

• Home Construction
• Patios

Concrete Sand is also available. It packs very well and contains some pebbles. Concrete sand is commonly used under pavers.
